The Art of Using Positive Self-Talk to Increase Productivity and Boost Overall Confidence
Many people struggle with procrastination and a lack of confidence that often disturbs not only their overall work productivity, but their overall achievements in life as well. When we doubt ourselves or feel as though we cannot achieve certain tasks, we make the mistake of following through with these beliefs and negative thoughts, which in turn leads to stagnation and lack of productivity. Many people do not know the importance of having high self-esteem and confidence in order to achieve in life. That ounce of positive self-esteem and confidence can take one further than they could have ever imagined and you will be able to achieve the unthinkable. This is where positive self-talk comes in handy.
So what is positive self-talk? If you are anything like me you often have thoughts and internal conversations with yourself in day-to-day life, especially when it comes down to having to complete a challenging task. There have been many times where I think of a task that I deem fairly challenging and say to myself, “I don’t know if I can do this.” This is and of itself is common and normal, especially if you’re human.
